KIEV, Sept. 11 – The Obolon Corporation, one of the largest beer and beverage producers in Ukraine, has written the Ukrainian government asking for a ban on imports of Russian beer in response to sanctions introduced by Russia.

"From August 15, a member of the World Trade Organization – Russia – has banned imports of beer made by Obolon under a hollow pretext. This ban also concerns Crimea, [which was] occupied by Russia," reads a press release of the company issued on Wednesday.
