KIEV, Sept. 9 - A third of the Donbas territory will receive a special status but will remain a part of a united Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko Bloc leader, presidential advisor Yuriy Lutsenko said.
"The protocol has definitively stated that this is not about a special status of two regions. It has clearly said [the status will be granted] only to those districts of the two regions which are beyond control of the Ukrainian authorities," Lutsenko said in the Svoboda Slova (Freedom of Speech) program aired by the ICTV channel on Monday night.
