KIEV, Sept. 5 – The border with Russia will be equipped with engineering structures in two stages, and the first stage involves the construction of a wall on the border in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions, and part of Luhansk region, Deputy Chief of State Border Guard Service Pavlo Shysholin said at a presentation of the Wall project.
"The work on engineering and technical construction must be conducted in two stages. The first stage will include constructions on areas that are currently out of the conflict zone and active military activities, where we can start engineering construction work today," he said at a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.
