KIEV, Sept. 2 – The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has agreed on a schedule of power blackouts for households effective August 29. The blackouts will not affect industrial consumers.

According to the ministry, power will be disconnected under the rules on the application of power supply restriction and power blackout schedules, and anti-damage power consumption reduction systems approved by ministry order No. 142 of February 12, 2014.

Earlier public joint-stock company Prykarpattiaoblenergo (Ivano-Frankivsk) reported on the possibility of temporarily suspension of power supply due to a lack of capacity in the Ukrainian power grid.
