KIEV, Aug. 4 – The suspension of the actual functioning of customs posts and checkpoints in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, where active hostilities are being conducted, is costing the government UAH250 million per month, Ukraine State Fiscal Service deputy chief Anatoliy Makarenko said.
"The situation on the eastern border is extremely tense. Today we have two customs on the eastern border in Luhansk and Donetsk, where ten customs checkpoints operate. We were forced to move the Luhansk customs, but now I won't say where the post to manage this region will be placed. I just want to save the lives of my colleagues," he told reporters.
