KIEV, July 25 - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, at a meeting with representatives of the European People's Party, stressed the importance of declaring the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) and Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) as terrorist organizations, the press service of the head of state has reported.
"The president noted the importance of recognizing LPR and DPR as terrorists, because after such a resolution everyone who supports, coordinates and finances these organizations may be subject to international sanctions. Today a respective resolution is being prepared in the U.S. Senate and the Australian parliament," reads the statement.
