KIEV, Dec. 13 ??“ METRO Group, the world??™s third largest retailer, invested 1 bln hryvnias, or 170 mln euros, over the past 2.5 years to build a chain of wholesale centers in Ukraine, the company said Tuesday.

The latest investment came to Lviv, where METRO had last week opened a 100 mln hryvnias wholesale trade center, its eighth such facility in Ukraine, the company said.
