KIEV, July 3 – President Petro Poroshenko, in a telephone conversation with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, said that he is ready to begin political negotiations to resolve the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions without any additional conditions.

The parties discussed the further international efforts to support Ukraine's position, the press service of the Ukrainian president reported.

Poroshenko briefed Biden about the results of the meeting of the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia in Berlin.
