KIEV, June 25 - Ukraine will be able to meet its own demand for natural gas within the next 5 to 7 years by tapping new and boosting output from existing gas fields, Naftogazvydobuvannia, the country’s largest privately owned gas producer, said Wednesday.
Ihor Shchurov, the head of Naftogazvydobuvannia, said Ukraine has untapped potential for natural gas production that can be deployed very quickly with private investments and new technology.
