MOSCOW, June 23 - Gazprom is increasing gas transit volumes through Ukraine due to maintenance work on the Nord Stream gas pipeline scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

Slovakian gas transport operator Eustream reported that the transit volume announced for the Uzhgorod corridor on Monday is 145 million cubic meters (mcm), compared with 105-107 mcm per day pumped at the beginning of last week.
