KIEV, June 16 – Kyivenergo has agreed with national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny to pay the half of the debt of the Kiev's energy company for gas consumed by July 1, 2014 and the second half of the debt – by October 1, 2014 (the total debt is UAH 2.612 billion), Kyivenergo Director of Kiev Heat Networks Yevhen Hlushak said.

"By July 1, 2014, we are obliged to pay 50% of the debt accrued as of today to Naftogaz Ukrayiny, and the second 50% of the debt will be paid to Naftogaz by October 1, 2014, the start of the heating season. The same schedules have been drawn up with district administrations [on the payment of debts of consumers to Kyivenergo, and the funds will be used to pay to Naftogaz]," he said.
