KIEV, June 12 – The acceleration of inflation in April and May to a record indicator for these months is cause for concern, and the government and the National Bank of Ukraine should focus their efforts on retaining price stability as a guarantee of future economic growth, said Valeriy Lytvytsky advisor to the NBU governor.
"Inflation should be returned to its rightful place in the list of top-priorities. The price stability should be issue number one, and not the replenishment of the budget," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
