KIEV, June 11 – EnergoAtom plans to sign a supplementary agreement with Holtec International to its 2005 contract to build a central waste nuclear fuel storage facility which will allow starting the project's design, EnergoAtom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky said.
"We're preparing a supplementary agreement, which will allow us to start designing, and we'll soon sign it," he said.
Nedashkovsky said that since the moment of the signing of the basic agreement between EnergoAtom and Holtec in 2005 the company failed to start the practical realization of the project due to delays with the approval of the relevant law by the Ukrainian parliament and the allocation of a land plot.
