BRUSSELS, June 10 - NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said he is confident that Petro Poroshenko's assuming the post of the new president of Ukraine will facilitate the speedy settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.

"I am confident that President Poroshenko's leadership will contribute to the stabilization of the country, building on the inclusive political dialogue launched ahead of the elections," he said in a statement issued on Saturday.
