KIEV, June 6 – The situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions has started seriously affecting the revenues of the national budget, and in June the losses could reach UAH 1 billion, or around the half of the average amount of revenues from the two regions, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"The situation is super critical: in May we did not receive UAH 422 million of budget revenues. In June we expect that we won't receive UAH 1 billion," he said while speaking in parliament on Friday, giving a report on 100 days of the work of the Ukrainian government.
He noted that over a year revenues from Donetsk and Luhansk regions amount to some UAH 23 billion, or around UAH 2 billion a month.
