SIMFEROPOL/KIEV, June 5 – The occupation authorities in Crimea have transferred the property of State Savings Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank) on the territory of the peninsula to the management by the autonomous non-profit organization Depositor Protection Fund, which will settle compensation payments to the Crimean clients of the bank.

"Prosecutor General's Office of Crimea sent a claim demanding the termination of illegal non-execution of liabilities by the State Saving Bank of Ukraine to court… The ground for taking measures of prosecutor's reaction was appeals of citizens, whose rights were violated, as the banking institution avoided returning deposits," the press service of the Crimean Prosecutor General's Office reported on Wednesday.
