KIEV, May 30 – Coal production in state mines has fallen 10% over the past week due to the increase in military operations in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, according to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
"Each day there is a fall by some 10-12% due to the situation. If we take tons, this is around 7,000-10,000 tons less coal than we expected to receive," First Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Ziukov said at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
