KIEV, May 30 – Ukrspecexport State Enterprise is aware of the problems with the unloading of a batch of new Ukrainian APC 3E1 armored personal carriers in Thailand, and the company is preparing a counterclaim alleging illegal detention of the cargo by Cypriot White Whale Shipping, a source close to the state enterprise told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The claims of the Cypriot shipping company against Ukrspecexport are groundless: White Whale Shipping has contract relations not with the state enterprise, but with agents of the cargo dispatcher. Today, due to the incident in Thailand they are preparing document to file them to court on the improper fulfillment of liabilities under a shipping agreement by the agent of the ship owner," the source said, commenting on a statement a representative of the Cypriot company in Odesa.
