KIEV, May 28 – The special division of National Nuclear Generating Company EnergoAtom – Rivne nuclear power plant has signed an agreement with UTEM (Kiev) to build a radioactive waste treatment complex, UTEM reported.

The contract includes building cold radioactive waste treatment facilities, and special facilities one and two will be reconstructed for the installation of equipment to extract solid radioactive waste (SRW).

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a project on the construction of the SRW treatment complex at the Rivne plant worth UAH 271 million in 2012 prices.
