KIEV, May 28 – The purchase prices of milk in Ukraine have fallen by 15-20% since the middle of April, after the introduction of restrictions on exports of Ukrainian dairy products to Russia, the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club reported.
The UCAB said that due to the reduction of purchase prices, the revenues of agricultural companies from the sale of milk fell by UAH 150 million in a month.
"Due to the worsening of trade relations with Russia enterprises received UAH 0.50-0.80 less from the sale of one liter of milk. Selling around 230,000 tons of milk a month, the losses of agricultural companies from the decline of the prices came to some UAH 150 million," reads the report.
