KIEV, May 26 – The World Bank's board of executive directors signed an agreement in Kiev on Monday to provide $1.48 billion in financing for three projects.
"Our new investments will go into improving basic public services that directly benefit people of the country, such as water, sanitation, heating, power and health services," Qimiao Fan, World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine is quoted as saying on the World Bank's website.
