KIEV, May 26 - Ukraine continued increasing reserves of natural gas in its underground storage facilities as reserves grew another 851 million cubic meters in the third week of May, according to Gas Storage Europe (GSE).
While 10.03 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas were held in Ukraine's underground facilities as of May 14, on May 21, reserves were up 8.5%, or 851 million cubic meters, at 10.881 bcm.
Additionally, gas transportation operator Ukrtransgaz saw reserves grow by 51.1%, or 3.679 bcm, from April 1, the end of the 2013-2014 heating season, through May 21.
