Stakhanov goes back to work after gunmen deactivate transformers
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, May 19 – Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant (Luhansk region), which lost power after gunmen deactivated transformers at its Almazna sub-station, is now receiving electricity through another branch and has resumed operation.

"The enterprise is working," the executive director of the Ukrainian association of ferroalloy producers, Serhiy Kudriavtsev, told Interfax-Ukraine.

The power being supplied to the enterprise is not letting its furnaces work at full capacity, he said.
