KIEV, May 15 - A total of 54.7% of Ukrainian citizens who have already made their choice among the presidential candidates and who will go to the polling stations on May 25 said they would vote for businessman Petro Poroshenko if the country's presidential elections were to be held this coming Sunday.
The public opinion survey was conducted by Kiev International Institute of Sociology in all of the country's regions from April 29 to May 11 and involved 2,022 people. The margin of error was 3.3% for the figures close to 50%, and 1.4% for the figures close to 5%.
Batkivschyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko was named by 9.6% of respondents, MP Serhiy Tyhypko by 6.7%, Civil Position party leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko by 6.5%.
