KIEV, May 12 – Ukraine's GDP will drop by 6.5% in 2014, according to the International Center for Policy Studies.
"The drop in Ukraine’s GDP will be 6.5% in 2014 [taking into account Crimea in the study] If we take into account the annexation of Crimea, and remove the contribution of Crimea in GDP [the regional contribution of Crimea in Ukraine's GDP is 3.7% on average], GDP will drop to over 10%," reads a report on the center's Web site.
The center also said that inflation this year will total 15.4%.
"The key reasons of expansion of inflation processes is growth in money supply seen due to the mass withdrawal of deposits from the banking system and the rise in the price of imported goods related to the hryvnia devaluation," reads the report.
