KIEV, May 12 – Ukraine is ready to provide the financing of coal companies in 2014 in full, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said at a briefing in Kiev.

"We have funds to fully cover the operation of the coal sector in 2014," the minister said.

He said that despite the fact that the budget support this year was reduced by UAH 1.2 billion, thanks to the removal of intermediaries and corruption schemes, an additional UAH 1.6 billion was found in the sector. The average price of coal to energy companies was increased from UAH 750 million to UAH 850 million per ton.
