KIEV, May 12 - The Ukrainian authorities have no information proving that businessman Rinat Akhmetov's companies are involved in financing activists and movements supporting Ukraine's federalization, said Serhiy Pashynsky, the acting chief of the Ukrainian presidential administration.
"We have no data that Akhmetov's companies were or are financing the separatists," Pashynsky said at a briefing in Kiev on Sunday.
There are "dozens of counts, dozens of individuals arrested and detained, and dozens of companies closed" as part of an investigation into the funding of federalization supporters, he said.
