WASHINGTON, May 8 - The International Monetary Fund might adjust the program of cooperation with Ukraine if the situation in the east of the country worsens, IMF Communications Department Director Gerry Rice said.
"The IMF report indicates that the loss of effective control in eastern Ukraine is one of the risks for the program, and if it is realized the program might be revised. I cannot speculate on the issue of possible changes, as well as other relevant matters, including referendums announced in the region," he said at a press briefing in Washington.
