KIEV, May 6 – The Board of Directors of the World Bank plans to consider a new Development Policy Loan (DPL) for Ukraine on May 22, the bank reported.
On May 27, the board will consider the investment loan to improve energy efficiency and heating in Ukraine.
Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Ministry earlier said that a first tranche of DPL (DPL-1), which the Ukrainian budget could receive in May this year, could be $500 million. In April, after negotiations with the World Bank Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak said that DPL-1 could be increased to $750 million.
