KIEV, May 6 – Yuzhnoukrainsk Nuclear Power Plant has completed 12 out of 85 prerequisite programs for the extension of the service life of reactor two after April 2015, the plant reported.
Preparation for the extension of the service life of Yuzhnoukrainsk reactor two was discussed during a visit of President of National Nuclear Generating Company EnergoAtom Yuriy Nedashkovsky to the plant on April 30.
The EnergoAtom head also checked out the operation of the training center of the plant, visited classrooms and a full-featured simulator, talked to instructors and visited the machine hall of the plant's first phase.
