KIEV, April 24 – Zuyivska thermal power plant (TPP) of DTEK Vostokenergo LLC has started the reconstruction of power unit No. 3 worth UAH 467.9 million, the press service of DTEK reported.

After the reconstruction of power unit No. 3 its capacity will increase to 320 MW, the operational life of the power station will be extended for 15 years, and the efficiency will be at least 88% due to the modernization of the turbine low pressure cylinder. In addition, these measures will allow to reduce fuel consumption to 342.1 g/KWh, reduce electricity consumption for own needs by 0.4% due to the modernization of electric equipment.

It is planned to complete the reconstruction of the object by January 15, 2015, the Elektronaladka engineering company will manage the work.
