KIEV, April 3 - Ukraine plans to immediately resume imports of fresh nuclear fuel from Westinghouse as part of a strategy to diversify supplies in the energy sector, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said Thursday.

The move comes amid escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia after Moscow had drastically increased its natural gas prices following annexation of Crimea, a Ukrainian peninsula in the Black Sea.
