KIEV, April 1 – Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has lowered its long-term issuer credit rating on the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to 'D' from 'CCC', and the national scale rating to 'D' from 'uaB-'.
"We then withdrew our ratings on Crimea at the issuer's request," S&P said in a statement.
The April 1 downgrade follows Crimea's missed coupon payment on its UAH 133 billion ($12 million) bond.
