KIEV, April 1 – Due to the annexation of Crimea by Russia Ukraine has to revise the terms of the launch of the first Ukrainian Lybid communications satellite: the launch scheduled for April earlier is postponed until summer, a source in the space sector told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Due to events in Crimea, the launch of the Lybid satellite is tentatively postponed until summer," the source said.
"Taking into account the fact that the launch site infrastructure was prepared at the National Space Facilities Control and Test Center in Yevpatoria, at present the issue of the transferring the satellite control station to another site is being worked out," he said.
