KIEV, March 21 - Ukraine’s law enforcement agents on Friday raided offices of the national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny and detained the head of the company as part of a massive corruption investigation, an official said.
Yevhen Bakulin, the head of Naftogaz, is accused by investigators of playing a role in stealing at least $4 billion in state funds from the energy sector, Arsen Avakov, the interior minister, said.
