TIRASPOL, March 19 - The Transdniestrian Foreign Ministry issued a travel alert for Ukraine on Wednesday. Citizens were advised "not to visit Ukraine unless the trip was absolutely necessary."

The ministry said the travel alert would be in effect "until the complete stabilization in the neighboring country and the restoration of law and order."
