KIEV, March 17 – A new Stand-by Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund could be agreed by late March, Economic Development and Trade Minister Pavlo Sheremeta said.
"We're aiming not to hold long negotiations. We'd like to have a decision by the end of March. This is the plan," Sheremeta said at a briefing last week.
The minister did not disclose the details of the program and the possible volume of financing, adding that the term for which the funds are given will be two or three years.
