KIEV, March 12 – There are no resources for the further budget subsidizing of the prices of energy, which are set too low in Ukraine, although the switch to market prices will be gradual, Economic Development and Trade Minister Pavlo Sheremeta said.

"The economy, society and country have got used to the fact that we [only] partially paid for the price of gas and the budget subsidizes this. There is no money for this – this is a fact. However, we'll do this gradually and we’re ready to cushion the switch," he said on the Echo of Moscow radio station on Tuesday, March 11.
