KIEV, March 10 - Ukraine expects Russia to increase its natural gas prices by at least 37% starting next month, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said on Sunday.
The price is expected to increase to $368.5 per 1,000 cubic meters in the second quarter, up from $268.5/1,000 cu m in the first quarter, Prodan said, citing the government’s calculations.
“We expect the price from Russia at $368.5 [per 1,000 cu m] in the second quarter,” Prodan told reporters after a special government meeting.
