KIEV, March 3 - Ukraine is working on a contingency plan to start imports of natural gas from Europe amid concerns that Russia may shut down its gas supplies completely, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said Monday.

Russia already told Ukraine it will cancel a 33% discount on price of natural gas in the second quarter, Yatseniuk said. But Russia is probably considering even a more drastic move, such as shutting gas supplies completely, he said.
