BRUSSELS, Feb. 28 – The Federal Council of Switzerland has decided to block all the assets Viktor Yanukovych and his entourage might have in Switzerland.

The corresponding resolution enters into force on Friday, February 28, the Federal Council said in a statement posted on its Web site.

"In taking this measure, the Federal Council wishes to avoid any risk of the misappropriation of Ukrainian state assets," reads the statement.
