KIEV, Feb. 26 – Japan's Rating and Investment Information, Inc. (R&I) has downgraded Ukraine's foreign currency issuer rating from 'B+' to 'B-,' the agency reported.
The agency placed on the rating monitor with view to downgrading.
"Although the pro-EU opposition party seized power, future developments remain to be seen, including countermoves from the Russian government which has been in support of President Yanukovych. It is still uncertain whether Ukraine will be able to restore political and social order in a short term," R&I said.
