LVIV, Nov. 29 - Gunmen killed a former regional governor in western Ukraine on Tuesday in what police said appeared to be a settling of accounts between business interests, Reuters reported.

Police said Stepan Senchuk, who earned a reputation for high living while governor of Lviv region from 1999 to 2001, was shot dead at a filling station on his way to work outside the city.
