KIEV, Feb. 21 – Work at Mariupol confectionary factory (Donetsk region) was stopped in February, the Roshen Corporation has reported.
The corporation said the factory was stopped due to politically motivated complications with the foreign trade relations of Ukraine.
"From July 2013 the pressure on exporters of Ukrainian products became of a systemic character. The main factor which affected the confectionary sector in general was the interference in economic operation of companies in Ukraine by tax agencies, which were far from the issues of retaining jobs, protecting national goods producers and creating the favorable conditions for development of business," reads the press release.
