KIEV, Feb. 17 – The issue of federalization requires thorough examination and discussion and not the emotional decisions, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.

"This idea has been roaming both in the politics and society for a long period of time. This is no time [to decide on this]," he said in an interview with journalist Vitaliy Korotych broadcasted on the Inter TV channel late on Friday, February 14.
