BRUSSELS, Feb. 11 – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton has repeated the offer of the international community's assistance in de-escalating the situation in Ukraine, but said that the EU adheres to the principle of non-interference.
Speaking at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday, Ashton said "I was really shocked at the difference between my first visit in November and my second visit in terms of the tension and the numbers of police."
