KIEV, Feb. 7 - Philip Morris International, one of the world's largest manufacturers of tobacco products, in 2013 reduced shipments of cigarettes in Ukraine by 5.5%, to 25.5 billion cigarettes, the company said in a report.
The company said that the general fall on the Ukrainian market over the period came to 9.9% (to 75.1 billion cigarettes), which is linked to growth in the prices of products due to the increase in the tax burden at the beginning of the year and the expansion of the share of illegal trade.
