KIEV, Nov. 28 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the state natural gas company and the major shipper of Russian gas to Europe, will launch a number of measures to make the transit more efficient, the company said Monday.

The measures, which will be implemented within the next 10 years, will help Naftogaz reduce costs of gas shipments that in the end will make its position more flexible in talks with Gazprom over transit tariffs, analysts said.
