LONDON, Jan. 22 - Fitch Ratings could revise Ukraine's sovereign rating in late February, Paul Rawkins Fitch Senior Director Sovereigns said at a teleconference on Tuesday.
In November Fitch downgraded Ukraine's rating from 'B' to 'B-' with Outlook Negative due to the weak position of foreign financing and restrictions in the state's ability to raise loans in foreign currency to refinance payments on foreign debt in 2014-2015. Since then Ukraine received a promise from Russia to issue $15 billion to Ukraine, which will allow the country to considerably cut a risk of crisis of foreign liquidity for the next two years.
