KIEV, Jan. 17 - Public funding for the development of weapons and military equipment for the Defense Ministry is foreseen at UAH 563.32 million, 38.7% less than 2013.

Such figures are given in the law on the national budget of Ukraine for 2014, which was adopted by Parliament on January 16, given proposals from the parliamentary budget committee.

The committee's proposals, in particular, foresee an increase of spending on the development of military equipment from the general fund of the budget by UAH 100 million.
